Why does my controller keep disconnecting during play?

Common causes and fixes for frequent controller disconnections on ONMO+.

Frequent disconnections are most commonly caused by low battery or an unstable wireless signal. Try the following:

  • Charge the controller: Connect via USB-C to charge. While charging, all 4 LEDs blink rapidly. The battery lasts approximately 21 hours on a full charge.

  • Move closer to your device: Stay within 5 metres and remove any obstacles between the controller and your phone, PC, or TV.

  • Reduce Bluetooth interference: Disconnect other active Bluetooth devices nearby — multiple devices competing on the same frequency can cause instability.

  • Switch to the USB dongle (TV users): For TV use, the 2.4 GHz dongle connection (Mode 4) is significantly more stable than Bluetooth. Plug the dongle into a USB 3.0 port (blue connector) and hold M (Mode) for 2 seconds until LED 4 is active.
