Why won’t my game launch?

Troubleshoot games that do not start, remain on a loading screen, or are temporarily unavailable.

Written by ONMO+ Support

A game may fail to launch because of a temporary issue with the session, game maintenance, regional availability, or a connection problem. Start by quitting the current session and launching the game again from the ONMO+ catalog.

The game is temporarily unavailable

A game may be taken offline temporarily for maintenance or a required update. If ONMO+ displays a maintenance or availability message, wait until the game becomes available and try again.

The game is not available in your region

Some games have regional restrictions imposed by their publisher or licensor. This means a game may be unavailable in certain countries even if ONMO+ itself is available there.

The game remains on a loading screen

Some games require more time to start, particularly during their first launch. Wait for the loading process to finish without closing the session and follow the prompts.

If the screen does not change or the game does not open after more than one minute, quit the session and launch the game again.

The session does not connect

A connection issue can prevent the session from starting correctly. If the progress bar doesn't move there may be a problem with your internet connection. If possible, use 5 GHz Wi-Fi, move closer to your router, pause other downloads, and disable any VPN or network restriction before trying again.

An Install & Play game does not launch

If the problem affects a game from your Steam library, see Issues with my Install & Play games. Steam games may require additional troubleshooting that does not apply to Essential Pass games.

The game still will not launch

If the issue continues after restarting the session, contact Support through live chat and include:

  • The name of the game

  • The device you are using

  • The error message shown, if any

  • The point at which the launch stops

  • Whether the issue happens every time on every device and network
